During the month of May, unwanted computer and electrical equipment can be dropped off for recycling at the Kadina Recycling Depot, Old Dump Road (during regular opening hours), free of charge.

University of the Third Age Yorke Peninsula U3AYP is an organisation that has been established to enable life long learning to continue in retirement. They offer a variety of interesting courses throughout the year for members at a small fee. Courses coming up this term include Family History, Power point, Visiting Business on YP, card making and other craft courses and knowing more about your library just to mention a few. Fire Notifications Now Online! |

Daily notification to Council of the intention to burn broadacres is now available online! Simply click on the "Burn-off Online" button located on the the right of the Home screen and complete the online form. Please take the time to read the form and associated information pages to ensure you are meeting all your conditional burning requirements.
Property owners are still required to contact their local Council office initially to obtain a Schedule 9 Burning Permit for the season and can then notify Council online of their daily intention to burn.

Council has finalised the process to prepare the Strategic Management Plan for this term of Council and the plan is now available for members of the Community to view and download.

District Council of Yorke Peninsula celebrates Australia Day in style at Port Victoria |

The District Council of Yorke Peninsula celebrated in style on Australia Day combining with the Port Victoria CWA Flag Raising Ceremony. Approximately 250 people attended and joined in the celebrations and enjoyed a wonderul buffet luncheon prepared by CWA ladies and Council staff.
