Friday, 03 May 2013

By the end of 2013, all analog free-to-air TV services across Australia will be permanently switched off and only digital free-to-air TV services will be available.

The final step in the transition to digital TV, known as 'the retune', will involve some TV channels changing frequency. Ceres Wind Farm Project
Tuesday, 08 January 2013

The proposed Wind Farm Ceres Project is seeking development approval under Section 49 of the Development Act - Crown Development and Public Infrastructure by the State Government. The project sponsor for the application was the Major Projects Division of the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure.  The Ceres Project has received Environment Protection Biodiversity and Conservation Act clearance from the Commonwealth on 21st December 2012 and the Development Application has been lodged with the Development Assessment Commission on 3rd January 2013.

WHAT THIS MEANS IS:

That the Development Assessment Commission is the relevant planning authority responsible for approval of the proposed development not the Council, however Council will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed development during the public consultation process.
