Youth Advisory Committee (YAC-YP)
The Yorke Peninsula Youth Advisory Committee (YAC - YP) is currently in recess. Research is being undertaken to see if the YAC - YP can be re-established.
In todays society we are faced with more and more problems when growing up. These problems can range from peer pressure, bullying, body image, being different, to friendships, relationships, the ups and downs of families, puberty and even to depression, pregnancy and suicide.

There are several BMX tracks on the Yorke Peninsula, they are located at Ardrossan,
Yorketown and Maitland.

National Youth Week
NYW is a joint Australian Government, State, Territory and Local Government Initiative.
The Australian Government Department of Family and Community Services (FaCS), in collaboration with the Departments responsible for youth affairs in all States and Territories, coordinate NYW.
NYW aims to encourage young people to:
