Conditions to remember when undertaking burning activities:

• Slashers - Adequate water (minimum 500 litres) and a suitable fire unit in close proximity to the area being slashed is recommended.
  
• Burning in the open in townships is not permitted during the Fire Danger Season.
• Roadside burning is only permitted with approval from Native Vegetation Council. For further information contact the Native Vegetation Council Secretariat on (08) 8303 9741.
