Mr Bruhn advised councillors letters had been forwarded to Minister Jennifer Rankine thanking her for the approval of funding for building construction to proceed, and to Minister Jay Weatherill seeking the government’s support for the rededication of a portion of existing parklands for disability housing purposes.

“It is hoped that given his previous support, Minister Weatherill will approve this rededication to allow construction of the project to commence,” Mr Bruhn said.
