South Australia’s new planning system for rural areas is now operational, revoking Council’s Development Plan and allowing development applications to be submitted and tracked online for the first time via a new ePlanning platform.
The ePlanning platform implemented by the State Government brings together the new PlanSA Portal, the online Planning and Design Code, the South Australian Property and Planning Atlas and the electronic Development Application Processing system.
The new planning system aims to deliver clear and consistent planning policies across South Australia that are easily accessible and widely available. Council will continue to provide development assessment services under this new system.
New applications lodged from 31 July 2020
